Frequently Asked Questions
COST ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
How much will this thing cost?
We estimate that it will cost around $800 USD per person per shared double room for the entire 4 nights. This will include transportation to and from the villa as well as 2 meals a day. Additional activities and meals will be covered by Michelle & Andres.
*Note: There may be a few other things that you’ll want to do on your own and those will cost whatever they cost ;)
How do I pay you?
We will be collecting payment for the stay closer to the wedding date. Please stay tuned! We will share more when we have updates.
TRANSPORTATION ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
Which airport should I fly into?
Please fly into Puerto Vallarta Airport (PVR).
How do I get from the airport to the villa?
Once we collect RSVPs, we will gather flight information. We will coordinate transportation to and from the villa for both arrivals and departures.
Will I need to rent a car for activities?
Nope! If we do schedule any group activities, we will provide and coordinate transportation.
OTHER ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
What is “Tanguez”?
Andres and Michelle will be changing BOTH their names by combining their existing last names. TANner + rodriGUEZ = TANGUEZ (tan·gwez).
How fancy will this be?
Overall, this will be a casual event. There may be a meal or two where we recommend business casual. Otherwise, pack those swimsuits, shorts, and whatever is comfy!
Can I room alone?
Currently, we are hoping all of our guests will be comfortable sharing a room to ensure that we have enough space. However, if you have a strong preference, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate if spots open up.
*Note: if you room alone you will need to pay about $1200 total.
ITINERARY ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
What day are you getting married? Will there be a ceremony?
We most likely will not have a formal wedding ceremony. We plan to share our story throughout group meals. We may officially sign the papers during one of those meals. It’ll be a surprise!
What will we be doing while we are there?
We will be sharing in itinerary closer to the date. However, we will schedule optional group activities (i.e. boat ride, snorkeling, tequila tour). We will let you know what is covered and what may be extra. You are also always welcome to hang out at the villa
DOCUMENTATION ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
What documentation do I need?
You will need to bring your passport if you are not a Mexican citizen. Please make sure that it doesn’t expire within 6 months of the trip dates (i.e. it’s good until April 2026). US Citizens will also need a Real ID.
*Note: these may change. Please confirm with your own research.
